If you want all of that, Flow Yoga & Movement has created a schedule of classes to give you all of that, and more. Our classes change you at the cellular level - what we offer is proven to give you a more healthy, balanced, and vibrant life. In our classes, you will get the energy and community vibe of a group practice, with the personal attention of trained and experienced yoga teachers and mind body fitness coaches. We recommend taking two classes for each area of your fitness needs each week:
Cardio: Tempo or Cycle Training (2 times per week) Strength: Tempo, Flow Yoga, Warm Flow, Hatha Flow, or Strength45 Training (2-5 times per week) Flexibility & Life Balance: Flow Yoga, Gentle Flow, Tempo, Warm Flow, Restorative Yoga, Hatha Flow, Yoga Nidra, Meditation (2+ times per week)
So, if you choose two of each of these to attend each week, you will be attending 4-6 classes each week. Combine these classes with moving your body in simple ways like walking or playing on your other days, and you will be in the best health of your life! Moving your body in some way each day is optimal for every body.
Flow Strength45 classes are unique because we focus on "intelligent intensity". Our movement coaches offer options to vary the load and ROM for your body. Using our unique approach to Metabolic Physique Conditioning that includes RBIT (rest-based interval training), these joint-friendly classes are designed for most levels and body types, with well-trained instructors that can help you modify to increase or decrease the intensity for your body by adjusting load and ROM (range of motion). A 45 minute community-focused metabolic strength conditioning that incorporates dumbbells, and body weight training. By encouraging you to vary load and ROM for YOUR body, we make this class accessible to lots of ages and bodies. In this class, we don't just train hard - we train smart.
Tempo is a dynamic, tempo-based, cardio movement conditioning class. Matched with fun, upbeat music to lift you up and jumpstart your day, these classes will allow you to find intensity without pain or strain.
Fun, inspiring, and community-focused classes! We tap into our active energy while group training on a specially designed bike! Great cardio workout and the ultimate workout when paired with a Flow Yoga or Strength45 class. Cycle classes at Flow are inspired by the energy of the group and focused on getting you stronger in body, mind and heart, and more effective on your bike and in life. Flow's SCS (Secret Cycle Society - haha) is a program that developed during the pandemic. We ride outdoors on spin bikes year-round - tons of community and accountabilty. The sessions are the same people, at the same time, two sessions per week. You reserve a bike in that time slot which incentivizes you to show up for both yourself and the group! These are private small group training classes. We wear layers and ride with fresh air ventilation (when its precipitating we are under cover). As you may know, Flow is now located conveniently in the HR Heights at 1015 12th Street (on the block between Farmstand and Pine St Bakery) in our beautiful new studio location. The studio has an alleyway entrance Cycle Room with a huge rolling door that gives us outdoor access and/or full outdoor level fresh air ventilation.
For Flow Members, its just $30/month to reserve your bike (approx 8 additional classes per month, so if you have to miss a class here and there its definitely worth it!). For non-Flow members, the cost is $89/month. Commitment is to one quarter (3 months).
