About Your Teacher: April Agranoff grew up in concrete jungle of NYC, but traded it in for the rivers and mountains of the Pacific Northwest. She became especially drawn to yoga after her father's stroke. Going to class helped ease her panic attacks more so than talk therapy alone. This experience was so meaningful to her that it led her to pursue yoga training and earn her Master's in Counseling. April is especially passionate about helping women feel safe in their bodies, and has focused her studies on somatic therapies, sexual trauma, depression, and PTSD. When she is not being very serious and studying, she enjoys dancing around her kitchen, and playing with her cat. When her cat isn't taking up all of her time, she likes going outside to explore waterfalls, ski and kayak. April also loves tarot and astrology, and appreciates anyone who lets her read their birth chart. She is excited to see you in class!
