Two Complementary Certification Programs SAYF Myofascial Programming offers a uniquely integrative approach that blends lymphatic and myofascial tissue work with intelligent movement, breath regulation, and nervous-system awareness—creating sustainable strength, fluid mobility, and sensitivity in both group and one-to-one therapeutic settings.
In the SAYF Myofascial Integration Certification (MI Cert) track, practitioners apply an extraordinary body patterning framework to assess, release, and re-educate movement patterns at their root—supporting lasting structural and neuromuscular change rather than temporary relief.
In the Hatha Roll track, the foam roller becomes both a tissue-release tool and a dynamic prop, creating an innovative integration of support, strength, balance, and mobility within movement classes.
Together, these complementary tracks equip you to serve both students and clients—expanding your reach, deepening your skill set, and supporting your community in a truly meaningful and sustainable way. These programs are designed for bodyworkers, health professionals, yoga and pilates teachers, athletic and personal trainers, group exercise instructors, physical therapists, and anyone else who has primary and credentialed training and education in health care, movement or bodywork.
A basic understanding of functional anatomy, postural assessment and movement patterning, and tissue health is a prerequisite for these courses. Especially if you are not already confident in those areas, combining SAYF Myofascial Education Programming with the primary SAYF Certification really uplevels what you can offer your students or clients. SAYF Certification is an online educational program that deepens your knowledge of the body: anatomy, human movement mechanics, subtle energy alignment guided by the bandhas, and how to reduce the risk of yoga or movement injury.
SAYF Myofascial Education is designed as a progressive pathway. All students begin with SAYF Myofascial Foundations, then may continue into either (or both): • SAYF Hatha Roll Certification — for group classes and yoga/movement instruction • SAYF Myofascial Integration Certification (MI Cert) — for private sessions and therapeutic work Together, these programs create a complete education in fascia-informed movement and care.
These programs are planned to launch April 15th. AND for the first 25 people to pre-register, we are offering:

SAYF MYOFASCIAL FOUNDATIONS Shared Core Curriculum for Both Certifications: Provide the scientific and experiential foundation for understanding fascia, lymphatic health, breath, and nervous-system regulation while preparing students for both teaching and therapeutic applications.
Orientation Module — Welcome & Scope Establish the container for the training, clarify learning outcomes, and define safety and scope of practice across yoga, movement coaching, and bodywork professions. Module 1 — The Fascial System Introduce fascia as the body’s living connective tissue network and explore hydration, architecture, movement function, and the role of awareness in fascial health while reframing foam rolling and stretching through a modern, science-informed lens. Module 2 — Lymphatic System & Fascial Interplay Explain how lymphatic circulation and fascia regulate fluid balance, immune function, and tissue health while exploring breath mechanics and movement strategies that support whole-body fluid dynamics. Module 3 — Benefits of Foam Rolling & Movement Equip students with evidence-informed language to communicate the benefits of foam rolling, breathwork, and movement for recovery, resilience, and long-term tissue health. Module 4 — Breath, Nervous System & Fascial Regulation Explore the relationship between breathing, autonomic nervous system regulation, HRV, and bandha-informed breath practices that influence fascial tone. Module 5 — Emotion & the Fascial–Nervous System Loop Examine how stress, emotion, and perception influence fascial tension and movement patterns while introducing breath-based practices that support regulation and embodied awareness. Module 6 — Science & Application of Foam Rolling Teach the science of pressure, pacing, and perception and apply the three foundational techniques: rolling, isometric release, and scrubbing, including safety and contraindications.
This foundational progam is then followed by one or both of these certifications:
SAYF HATHA ROLL CERTIFICATION Group Classes & Yoga Integration: Train instructors to integrate foam rolling into yoga and group movement classes using the roller as both a tool and a prop, while preserving the integrity, intelligence, and spirit of asana practice.
Module 1 — Foundations & Philosophy of Hatha Roll Define Hatha Roll and differentiate it from traditional foam rolling. Establish the program layout, explore the six key mechanisms that make yoga uniquely effective for fascial and lymphatic health, and examine yoga styles through a Hatha Roll lens. Module 2 — Core Teaching Framework & Methodology Apply the foundational principles that guide Hatha Roll instruction, including unweighting, slow eccentrics, progressive cueing, and the SAYF Movement framework. Develop mastery of foundational foam roller applications and the core techniques that distinguish this method. Module 3 — Intelligent Sequencing & Integrated Movement Design intelligent, breath-led sequences that weave rolling and asana together. Build standing preparation flows, choose range of motion strategically, and apply Hatha Roll signature pose integrations in both gentle and moderate formats. Module 4 — Implementation, Sustainability & Professional Integration Position Hatha Roll as a long-term, sustainable practice model. Integrate it into weekly classes, workshops, and retreats. Develop marketing language, launch strategies, and explore next steps within the broader SAYF certification pathway.
SAYFMyofascial Integration Certification (MI Cert) Private Sessions & Therapeutic Application: This certification prepares you to integrate myofascial foam rolling, breathwork, and guided movement into one-on-one sessions and small-group therapeutic settings. You will learn how to assess movement, apply rolling techniques safely, pair movement strategies intelligently, and design sessions that support long-term neuromuscular change and client confidence.
MODULE 1 — The Therapeutic Mindset Professional identity, language, ethics, and the nervous-system-informed philosophy that shapes how you guide client sessions. MODULE 2 — Client Intake & Assessment Intake, screening, red flags, observation skills, postural patterns, and functional movement screens. MODULE 3 — Therapeutic Foam Rolling Application Foam roller application, foundational sequences, therapeutic techniques, and working with asymmetry. MODULE 4 — Movement & Neuromuscular Repatterning Unweighting, isometric release, WITH and AFTER movement strategies, SAYF movement principles, and the neuromuscular re-patterning sequence. MODULE 5 — Common Kinetic Chain Patterns Eight full kinetic chain case studies with movement patterning, tissue activity, load pathways, rolling strategies, and integrated movement pairings. MODULE 6 — Designing & Pacing Client Sessions The SAYF Session Arc, first session structure, pacing principles, choosing movement pairings, and closing integration. MODULE 7 — Client Experience, Progress & Long-Term Change Managing expectations, explaining gradual progress, navigating plateaus and flare-ups, supporting home practice, and building long-term client relationships. MODULE 8 — Documentation & Professional Practice Simple, ethical documentation methods, session note structure (SOAP-style adapted for movement professionals), and professional standards that support clarity, continuity of care, and practitioner integrity. MODULE 9 — Business Integration & Dual Certification Advantage Practical guidance for integrating therapeutic myofascial work into your services, communicating its value, structuring offerings, and leveraging the dual-certification pathway to support sustainable professional growth.
These programs are planned to launch April 15th. AND for the first 25 people to pre-register, we are offering:
Low Introductory Early Pricing, including a deeply discounted Dual Certification Advantage
Special LIVE one-day workshop at Flow Studio in Hood River on Saturday April 18th.
Prerequisites: These certifications are designed for professionals who already hold foundational training and a current, valid credential in a movement, health, fitness, or bodywork field. Participants may include yoga teachers, physical therapists, Pilates instructors, group fitness instructors, health and wellness coaches, personal trainers, massage therapists, bodyworkers, physicians, nurses, chiropractors, athletic trainers, occupational therapists, physical therapist assistants, dance or movement educators, somatic practitioners, breathwork facilitators, and other licensed or certified health and wellness providers.
These programs are continuing and supplemental education, designed to expand professional skill sets within an existing scope of practice rather than to replace primary training, grant licensure, or qualify participants to diagnose or provide medical treatment.
The Dual Certification Advantage For practitioners who complete both SAYF Myofascial Certification Programs, the method becomes more than a skill set — it becomes a fully integrated ecosystem. One pathway equips you to teach the work in a group setting. The other equips you to apply it with depth and specificity in one-on-one sessions. Together, they allow you to move fluidly between visibility and precision, accessibility and refinement, exposure and integration.
Group classes can introduce larger audiences to nervous-system-informed rolling and breath-led movement in a supportive, lower-stakes environment. Private sessions allow you to slow down, observe more closely, recognize patterns, document progress, and tailor programming to the individual. When both tracks are in place, clients can move between formats depending on their needs — without losing continuity.
This creates a powerful professional structure: Group exposure → Individual support → Long-term progression
From a client perspective, this flexibility increases trust and retention. From a business perspective, it strengthens sustainability. You are no longer offering isolated services — you are offering a progression pathway.
Group classes often become a gateway. Clients experience the method in an accessible format before seeking more individualized care. When recurring tension, asymmetry, or specific movement goals surface, private sessions offer refinement without escalation. Private becomes a magnifying glass. Group becomes reinforcement.
Likewise, when clients feel ready to move beyond regular private sessions, structured group classes provide a natural bridge. They maintain the principles of breath-led pacing, intelligent rolling, unweighting, and mindful progression while supporting independence and resilience. This transition preserves relationship without creating dependency.
Together, the two certifications allow you to:
Expand reach without diluting depth
Support clients at multiple stages of their movement journey
Create continuity rather than fragmentation
Build a business model that is both impactful and sustainable
You do not have to choose between scale and specificity. The Dual Certification Advantage allows you to hold both.
