Lila Retreat was created by 4 mothers with expertise in Yoga (Steph & Tish), developmental music for children (Molly), family nutrition/meal planning (Tish), and mindful parenting/emotional intelligence (Karen). This joyful retreat is an opportunity for mothers to delight in, and feel supported in, mothering in a healthy, playful way. Time for mom to rejuvenate and relax with other mothers, time for mom to enjoy some meditative alone time, as well as time for moms and children to play, eat, and enjoy the outdoors together. We will have women-only yoga classes, multi-age kids yoga classes, and integrated playful yoga and music time. We will group families into “tribes” at the beginning of the workshop to support each other in having some free time to meditate, hike, enjoy the springs, or a massage. The retreat is organized in a cooperative structure that involves all participants, but allows for unique opportunities for solace, as well.
Stephanie Adams created the YogaFit Kids program when her now college-age daughter, Chloe, was in kindergarten. Her YF Kids Teacher Training program has trained both educators, parents, grandparents, and yoga instructors how to play yoga with kids of all ages. This yoga program develops the natural kinesthetic and emotional intelligence inherent within all of us.

This blog covers a range of topics that Adi has seen are common misconceptions in spirituality. These posts offer a simple change in perspective that supports an ongoing relationship to spiritual awakening.
